For promoting values of social and humanitarian solidarity, the Women’s Affairs and Student Activities Departments at the College of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Information Technology and Communications organized a volunteer visit to Dar Al-Rahma for the elderly AlKadhimiyah. During this visit, several food items were provided in support of our fathers and mothers among the elderly.

The visit included a friendly dialogue session, during which we listened to their stories and life experiences, sharing conversations about their rich memories filled with situations and wisdom that reflect the depth of their life experience.

The visit was marked by a warm and heartfelt atmosphere, contributing to bringing joy and smiles to the faces of the elderly, reaffirming that kind words and sincere care have an impact equal to that of material giving.

This initiative is part of a series of volunteer activities that the university and its colleges are keen to organize, reinforcing the values of compassion and social responsibility towards these groups.
