ComputingCisco Academy at the University of Information Technology and Communications (UOITC) has concluded a specialized training course in “Cloud Computing.” This initiative aligns with its ongoing efforts to support digital transformation pathways and enhance the management efficiency of modern technical infrastructures. The course, delivered by lecturer Weam Saadi Hamza, aimed to develop participants’ skills in cloud computing and raise their readiness to handle modern technologies adopted in digital work environments. These efforts contribute to boosting technical efficiency and supporting the transition toward smart and advanced systems.Conducted in accordance with the latest global technological standards, the course featured a comprehensive training program covering the core concepts of cloud computing and virtualization. It also included practical applications of various cloud service models, ranging from Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) to Software as a Service (SaaS).Furthermore, the program reviewed diverse cloud deployment models, including public, private, and hybrid clouds. A particular focus was placed on empowering participants to select appropriate models that meet the needs of engineering and research institutions, ensuring system flexibility, scalability, and high availability of services.
