The College of Engineering at the University of Information Technology and Communications (UOITC) has discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation with the Media Training Institute of the Iraqi Media Network, aiming to develop training programs and upgrade the applied skills of the college’s students.

Mr. Aws Jabbar Al-Lami, from the Department of Media and Communications Technology Engineering, represented the college . He was received by Dr. Hassan Kadhim Al-Suwaidi, Director of the Media Training Institute.

The visit comes as part of monitoring the summer training program for the department’s students, as well as exploring cooperation opportunities between both sides in media training, knowledge exchange, and the execution of joint activities to strengthen integration between the academic sector and media institutions.

The meeting covered several initiatives and proposals aimed at expanding future cooperation areas. These efforts aim to positively impact student preparation for the labor market and enhance their practical skills in media and technical specializations.

For his part, the Director of the Training Institute welcomed the visit, reaffirming the institute’s readiness to collaborate with the College of Engineering in implementing joint programs and activities that support students, build their capacities, and achieve the mutual goals of both institutions.
