The College of Engineering at the University of Information Technology and Communications, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Directorate of Studies, Planning and Follow-up / Department of Development and Human Development, held an introductory workshop on the Huawei ICT Competition. The workshop was delivered by Ms. Rand Safwat, a representative of Huawei.
The workshop introduced the competition, its objectives, registration and participation procedures, competition stages, and qualification requirements. It also showcased the Huawei learning platform and its specialized programs and training courses in several emerging technology fields, including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, networking, cybersecurity, big data, and the Internet of Things.
The workshop aimed to familiarize students with opportunities to participate in international technology competitions and encourage them to develop their academic and practical skills and make use of available educational and training resources. These efforts help strengthen their competitiveness and prepare them to pursue academic and professional pathways in information and communications technology.
