The Psychological Guidance and Counseling Unit at the College of Engineering, University of Information Technology and Communications (UoITC), organized a scientific seminar entitled “The Impact of Climate Change on Local and Regional Environments, with a Focus on Innovative Solutions and Sustainable Development.”
The seminar was delivered by the faculty member Ali Mohammed L’aibi.
The seminar addressed the most significant environmental repercussions of climate change at both the local and regional levels, highlighting the associated economic and social impacts. It also reviewed a range of innovative solutions and modern technologies that contribute to supporting pathways toward sustainable development and reducing environmental risks.
Furthermore, the seminar emphasized the importance of leveraging scientific research to develop practical responses to climate challenges and strengthening the role of academic institutions in adopting pioneering environmental initiatives. Furthermore,it stressed the necessity of integrating concepts of innovation and sustainability into research and educational projects, thereby enhancing the College’s contribution to addressing current and future climate challenges.
