Upon an official invitation from the Presidency of Al‑Farabi University, and in coordination with the Office of the Iraqi Prime Minister, the Dean of the Institute of Informatics for Post Graduate Studies (IIPS) at University of Information Technology and Communications (UoITC), Prof. Dr. Suha Mohammed Hadi, participated as a keynote speaker in the scientific symposium and professional training course entitled “Artificial Intelligence in Media Monitoring, Content Creation, and Decision-Making.”

The event was held on the university campus in the presence of a distinguished group of academic leaders, representatives of the National Center for Artificial Intelligence, and members of the Government Communication Team.
During the symposium, the Dean presented a specialized working paper focusing on “Iraqi Media: Transformations and Challenges” in light of the digital revolution. She outlined scientific perspectives on how to leverage intelligent technologies to develop media workflows, emphasizing the importance of transitioning from traditional monitoring to smart, data-driven monitoring based on big data analytics to support decision-making processes.
This participation comes within the framework of joint cooperation between academic institutions and government bodies to enhance technological integration. The symposium discussed several key themes, most notably:
Monitoring and Analysis: Analyzing interactions and trends, and measuring public opinion through automated tools.
Content Production: Generating texts and reports and designing media using artificial intelligence technologies.
Smart Marketing: Predicting audience behavior and optimizing digital media campaigns
