The Institute of Informatics for Postgraduate Studies (IIPS)at the University of Information Technology and Communications (UoITC) has announced the publication of the first issue of its peer-reviewed scientific journal, the Journal of Informatics and Advanced Data Science (JIADS), and its inclusion on the Iraqi Academic Journals Platform affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The publication of the first issue marks a new academic milestone, reflecting the Institute’s commitment to supporting scientific research and promoting rigorous academic publishing in the fields of informatics, data science, and related disciplines.
The journal provides an academic platform for publishing specialized research and studies,while also offering graduate students—particularly students of the Institute of Informatics for Postgraduate Studies—the opportunity to publish their research outputs and make them accessible to the academic community and researchers.
