organized a university psychological counseling division at the University of Information and Communication Technology, in cooperation with the University Security Directorate of the Iraqi National Security Service and the Department of Psychological Operations, Workshop Awareness entitled (Advertising and its impact on society), in the presence of a number of university professors and requested them.
The workshop addressed the scientific and security axes associated with the advertising industry mechanisms and their guidance and intellectual and psychological impacts in society, with emphasis on the importance of promoting awareness among students and teaching cadres, and reducing the negative effects of rumors and content
The misleading and advertising with negative effects. The workshop reviewed the main elements of the propaganda process, from the head and the target audience, to formulate the propaganda and select the appropriate means of deployment, both through traditional media, social networking, images and visual sections As well as the employment of rumors, impact methods and persuasion, with emphasis on timing and context in promoting the impact of the message and access to the target audience.
The workshop also addressed the highlight of propaganda patterns, including white, gray, black propaganda and anti-advertising, as well as discussing realistic models of propaganda and intellectual influence through social networking platforms and what can be left by some implications from reflections on Youth awareness and mental and intellectual trends.
