As part of strengthening the partnership between academic institutions and service providers, a delegation from the University of Information Technology and Communications (UoITC) paid an official visit to the headquarters of the General Company for Electricity Distribution in Baghdad, headed by the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Jaafar Adhab Angoud, and accompanied by Engineer Shukr Hamid Jumaa, Director of the Administrative Affairs Department.
The university delegation was received by Engineer Ahmed Murtada, Assistant Director General for Technical Affairs, and Engineer Ahmed Mohsen, Director of the Control Department at the General Company for Electricity Distribution in Baghdad. During the meeting, ways to ensure the continuity of electricity supply to the university were discussed, which would enhance the educational process and provide a suitable environment for students, teaching staff, and administrative staff.
The Assistant Director General affirmed the company’s readiness to provide the necessary support within the available resources, noting the Ministry of Electricity’s keenness to support educational institutions and meet their needs. For his part, the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs expressed his thanks and appreciation for the effective cooperation, praising the efforts made in supporting the education sector and achieving energy stability.
