As part of efforts to enhance scientific cooperation and exchange expertise, a delegation from the University of Information Technology and Communications visited the Scientific Research Authority/Information Technology and Communications Center. The delegation was headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Imad Kadhim Abdul Kaabi, Director of the Student Activities Department, and included faculty members and students from the university and the College of Engineering.

The visit included a tour of the center’s departments, encompassing the robotics lab, the data center, and the cellular design, radio systems, and non-ionizing device measurement labs. Comprehensive explanations were provided regarding the center’s operational mechanisms and available resources.

The delegation was received by the center’s director, Dr. Laith Mohammed Fawzi, who welcomed the visit and expressed his readiness for joint cooperation. A preliminary agreement was reached to train third- and fourth-year students during the summer break, emphasizing the importance of the scientific partnership with the university.

This visit is part of the activities of the Student Activities Department and its units within the colleges, aimed at developing scientific awareness and enhancing students’ practical skills.
