The University of Information Technology and Communications, through its Women’s Affairs Division, organized a cultural and awareness festival to mark Pink Month under the slogan, “In Pink, We Paint Hope; Through Creativity, We Empower.” The festival aimed to raise awareness of the importance of early detection of breast cancer.
The festival featured an art exhibition and a charity bazaar showcasing handmade crafts, creative products, and awareness posters, bringing together artistic expression, health awareness messages, and humanitarian initiatives.
The President of the University, Professor Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, toured the festival’s exhibition areas, reviewing the displayed works and diverse contributions. He praised the organizational efforts and initiatives aimed at promoting health awareness, supporting women’s creativity, and strengthening their role in society.
