The Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at the University of Information Technology and Communications participated in an interactive workshop organized online by the General Secretariat of the Association of Arab Universities. The workshop, which included ranking coordinators from Iraqi universities, discussed the requirements for the fourth edition of the 2026 Arab University Rankings.

The workshop reviewed the evaluation indicators used in the rankings, the mechanisms for using the dedicated online platform, and explained the steps for entering university data and the requirements for participation. It also provided an opportunity for direct dialogue with the Association of Arab Universities coordinator to answer inquiries related to the ranking criteria and procedures.

This participation is part of the university’s efforts to keep pace with developments in Arab academic rankings, enhance the efficiency and accuracy of institutional data management, support the development of university performance, raise the level of quality according to the approved standards, strengthen its presence in university rankings, and improve its position at the regional and international levels.
