Professor Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, President of the University, discussed with representatives of the Huawei Academy ways to strengthen joint cooperation in the field of Information and Communications Technology (ICT). The meeting aimed at developing students’ capabilities and keeping pace with global advancements in this vital sector.
The meeting explored the possibility of enrolling university students in Huawei Academy programs, which offer free training courses across various ICT disciplines. Additionally, the discussions covered providing students with opportunities to obtain internationally recognized certifications to enhance their competitiveness in the labor market.
Both parties also reviewed the academy’s free e-learning courses, designed to develop students’ practical skills in modern technological subjects. This initiative seeks to prepare qualified cadres capable of meeting the demands of the digital age.
