The University of Information Technology and Communications is actively preparing for the National University Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications (NURAI 2026) by completing the assessment and interview stages for the teams and projects applying to participate in the competitions.
The university has conducted scientific interviews and preliminary evaluations of the projects under the supervision of the championship coordinator at the university, Dr. Mohannad Abdul-Ilah Abbas, a lecturer at the College of Business Informatics. This is aimed at selecting outstanding projects that meet participation criteria and represent the university in the national championship.
These steps are part of the university’s efforts to support innovation and creativity, enhance a culture of research and technical development among students, and encourage them to present innovative solutions in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics. This contributes to honing their scientific and practical skills and solidifying the university’s presence in academic and technological forums.
