The Computing Center at the University of Information Technology and Communications organized a specialized workshop on the electronic ( Correspondence System) as part of the university’s efforts to improve administrative work and promote digital transformation within its departments.

The workshop, presented by instructor Ahmed Nizar and Mr. Zain Al-Abidin Muhammad from the Computing Center, explained the functionality of the electronic correspondence system, which serves as an alternative to traditional paper-based internal mail. It allows for the completion of correspondence within the university electronically, with the capability to use it on computers and mobile phones, thereby contributing to faster transaction processing and better organization of incoming mail between departments and administrative units, particularly for department heads.

The workshop also covered the system’s features, including archiving and electronic storage, as well as the ability to send various types of files such as images, documents, and links. Additionally, it highlighted the system’s role in sending circulars and organizing official correspondence within the university.

The workshop was attended by the administrative assistant to the university president, Professor Dr. Jaafar Athab, along with several administrative staff members at the university.
