The President of the University of Information Technology and Communications, Professor Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, extended his congratulations and best wishes to His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hassani, on assuming his new position, wishing him success in leading the advancement of higher education and scientific research in Iraq.

 

This took place during a meeting between the Minister of Higher Education and a number of presidents of Iraqi universities, during which they discussed ways to strengthen university autonomy, enhance academic and research performance, and develop academic programs and scientific specializations in line with national development priorities and labor market needs.

 

Al-Bakri affirmed the University of Information Technology and Communications’ commitment to continuing its efforts to develop its educational and research environment, promote innovation and digital transformation, and align with the Ministry’s vision of achieving quality and academic excellence while enhancing the standing of Iraqi universities.
