The University of Information Technology and Communications and the Australian University of Queensland have conducted joint global research collaboration.
The research was published in the journal of Multimedia Tools and Applications, which is involved within the Springer US publishing house, Claravit database and with an impact factor (2.101).
The research was titled “DFU_QUTNet: diabetic foot ulcer classification using novel deep convolutional neural network”.
The research dealt with the classification of cases of ulcers that affects the diabetic foot based on a smart algorithm proposed by researchers and accurately diagnosed (95.4%).
This participation comes after Presidential support represented by Prof. Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakry to increase the number of qualified researches to raise the university rank within the global rankings to serve our beloved country.
