The university organizes a training workshop on the e-learning project in Iraqi universities
In cooperation with the Directorate of Research and Development of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the University of Information Technology and Communications organized the tenth training workshop on the e-learning project in Iraqi universities, with the participation of researchers and specialists.
The workshop, which was held on the main hall of the university, reviewed the detailed curriculum for the e-learning project, and presented the main requirements of the government program and projects of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the objectives of these projects.
The workshop dealt with a number of researches, the most important of which were: a lecture by the Assistant to the President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Jane J. Stephan, entitled “The Reality of E-Learning at the University of Information and Communication Technology”, And a lecture on E-learning presented by Dr. Amer Salim, and a lecture entitled (Making moodle help you!) Presented by Dean of the Faculty of Business Information Dr. Safaa M. Obbis, and a lecture entitled “Using Google class room: Communication to make teaching more productive and meaningful” to the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Dr. Mouayed AbdulRaza and the lecture of Dr. Ali Tarash, (E-learning industry), and lecture (Modern Technologies in E-learning) to Dr. (Buthaina Fahran).
“The work of the digital transformation program in the field of e-learning requires an education that is enjoyed by both students, teachers and the educational institution in addition to providing an appropriate environment, the digital transformations within any institution must be based on criteria of readiness And the extent of the results of these transformations” said university president Dr. Abbas M. Al-Bakry.
Dr. Bakry pointed out that “the university’s orientation in terms of vision and objectives is the transformation of the field of jobs, which is compatible with the program of sustainable development and by providing specialized specialties and provide the need of the community with these transformations, in addition to the support of government projects in the ICT sector, Sustainable training for digital transformation, which was launched recently in cooperation with the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers and the United Nations, in addition to many programs and applications provided by the University.
The workshop concluded with the distribution of certificates of participation between researchers and participants.
