A group of the University of Information Technology and Communications’ female teachers and students was honored by the Media and Communications Authority during the annual ceremony on World Technology Girls’ Day

The University’s teachers and students were recognized for their outstanding efforts and promising projects in the field of technology. The Media and Communications Authority and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) organized the celebration of International Girls’ Day in Communications and Information Technology.

The Minister of Communications and the Chairman of the Information and Communications Authority, attended the ceremony besides the uiversity president prof. Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri.

The celebration was supported and coordinated with the Department of Women’s Empowerment  in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Women’s Empowerment Division of the University.
