The University of Information Technology and Communications maintained its entry within the Times Sustainable Development rankings for the year 2023 and among Iraqi universities and colleges, which included more than 1406 academic institutions from more than 106 countries around the world.

The official published results indicated an Increasing number of Iraqi universities and colleges that have secured their positions in this classification.

This classification evaluates universities by achieving a number of United Nations goals out of 17 goals, including quality of education, health, well-being, partnerships, industry, and innovation.
