The Center for Continuing Education at the University of Information Technology and Communications completed the second training course for the development and qualification of university leaders and human resources (the financial skills axis).

This course comes based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up and implementation of the two projects for developing and qualifying university leaders according to a scientific plan developed for the years (2023, and 2024, 2025) and according to five axes. The second training course lasted five days from 4-8/ 6 / 2023 and was attended by a number of officials of departments, divisions, and units in the university and its faculties who received scientific training and were presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Wafaa Al-Haidari from the Higher Institute for Financial and Accounting Studies at the University of Baghdad and the teacher Dr. Ibrahim Naim from the University of Information Technology and Communication.

The course dealt with many topics related to the financial aspect in government institutions, such as the concept and guide of the unified accounting system, the stages and steps of preparing budgets and general allocations, internal audit and control processes, management of warehouse systems, as well as management, financial analysis and performance evaluation.

The course concluded with the performance of the test for the participants, as the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, and the members of the supervising committee were keen to be present to see closely the reality of the second development course for university leaders and human resources.
