The American Council for Science and Education has selected the president of the University of Information Technology and Communications  Prof. Dr. Abbas M. Al-Bakri as one of the leaders of the largest convention complex in the United States of America.

Dr. Al-Bakri was the only figure from the Arab world chosen as a member of the leadership of these conferences along with other important international figures in the field of Information Technology and Communications

Dr. Al-Bakri is one of Iraq’s leading scientific figures in the field of artificial intelligence and has won several local and international awards, most notably the International Agency of Korea (IAEA) World Excellence Award in 2018, and accredited as an adviser to the United Nations for Development digital Programme.

For digital development, in addition to his selection with 22 international personalities as an IT scientist out of 600 international personalities, he was awarded the Order of Scientific Excellence by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in 2013, and his biography was published in a booklet of scientists’ biography in South Korea in 2012.
