The University of Information and Communication Technology maintained its entry into the Times Sustainable Development Classification for the year 2023 and among Iraqi universities and colleges, which included more than 1406 academic institutions from more than 106 countries around the world.

This ranking evaluates universities by achieving a number of United Nations goals out of 17 goals, including quality education, health and well-being, partnerships, industry and innovation.
