The Department of Continuing Education at UoITC completed the training course for the two projects of developing and qualifying university leaders and human resources,focusing on electronic and information governance skills.
This course was based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up and in implementation of two projects to develop and qualify university leaders according to a scientific plan developed for the years (2023, 2024, 2025) and according to five axes.
The course lasted for four days, from September 16-19, 2024.It was attended by a number of department, division, and unit officials at the university and its colleges, who received scientific training at the hands of qualified professors from the university.
The course was presented by Dr. Samer Muhammad Ali, head of the Computer Center, and Dr. Ban Qasim head of the Quality Assurance Department at the university, addressing topics about the concept of electronic management and its advantages, which means transforming administrative work from manual management to management via computers and information technology.
This course aims at identifying the features of electronic management, which help to manage and follow up the various formations and departments in the institution, and focusing on the decision-making point by providing data, collecting data from its original sources, and reducing aspects of expenditure in following up on management operations.
Along to employing information technology to supporting and building institutional culture, continuous learning and interconnection among employees in the organization.
The course concluded with a test for participants in the course on electronic governance and information skills for the university leaders.
