The College of Engineering organized a lecture on the mechanisms for calculating unscheduled hours and the cumulative grade system according to the Bologna system.

The lecture aims to enhance the understanding of instructors of the new system and how to apply it to the various academic programs in the college, which contributes to developing the educational process and raising the efficiency of teaching at the university.

The lecture was presented by the instructor in the Department of Information and Communication Technology Engineering, Athir Marouf Al-Jalabi, who is responsible for the system at the university.

The lecture also provided a detailed explanation of how to calculate academic hours according to this system, in addition to reviewing the basic objectives and work mechanisms on which the Bologna system relies to ensure improving the quality of higher education and providing an interactive educational environment that focuses on the student.

The lecture included explaining the mechanism for calculating the cumulative average and its determinants, and how to divide grades in line with the system’s standards.
