The University of Information Technology and Communications / Department of Continuing Education organized a workshop on the advantages and disadvantages of electronic payment systems.

Dr. Mustafa Walid Zagher from the university and Assistant Professor Dr. Athir Ali Abdul-Kathem, a lecturer from the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Babylon, discussed during the workshop the definition of electronic payment systems (pos), which are technologies and devices used to conduct financial transactions, as well as the advantages, disadvantages, and types of electronic payment (credit and debit cards, digital wallets, cash payment, and also mobile payment options) and accounting processors.

The workshop also explained the advantages of electronic payment systems and what they provide in terms of facilitating services and keeping pace with global economic developments, as they provide a safe means of conducting financial transactions in the digital world.
