The lecturer at the university, Dr. Zainab Noman Youssef, from the College of Biomedical Informatics/Department of Intelligent Medical Systems, published a joint scientific paper with a research team in the journal (Ingénierie des Systèmes d’Information) indexed in the Scopus container with a citation factor (CiteScore 2.5).
The publication of the research comes within the framework of enhancing scientific and research cooperation, and in implementation of the terms of the scientific twinning agreement concluded between the College of Medical Informatics and its corresponding department at Al-Mustaqbal University.
The research team included lecturers Asst. Dr. Maitham Nabil Ajam and Ali Salim Halim from Al-Mustaqbal University, and researcher Dr. Saif Al-Din Qadri from the Applied Sciences Research Center at the Applied Sciences Private University in Jordan. The title of the research was as follows:

The research is concerned with predicting the structure of proteins, which is an important basis for determining their functions, which contributes to the discovery of viral diseases and the development of drugs. This prediction also poses a major challenge in the field of bioinformatics.
