A team from the Independent High Electoral Commission visited the University of Information Technology and Communications to update data on academics, staff, and students. The University’s Assistant President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Hassan Mshali, and the University’s Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mahdi Nsaef Jasem, received the Commission’s team as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation and provide the necessary facilities to ensure the team’s success.
The modernization campaign witnessed interaction from across the University, a clear indication of the University’s members’ awareness of the importance of participating in elections as a constitutional right and national duty. This visit is part of a series of campaigns being implemented by the commission in preparation for the upcoming elections. These campaigns aim to ensure the largest possible number of voters are included in an updated and accurate electoral register, thus enhancing active participation in the democratic process.
