Assistant Professor Maysa Ahmed Abdul Karim, a lecturer at the College of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Information Technology and Communications, participated in evaluating a number of scientific research papers submitted for publication in internationally ranked, peer-reviewed journals.
The lecturer in the Department of Bioinformatics evaluated six scientific papers in the journal “Computers in Biology and Medicine”, published by the international publishing house Elsevier via the ScienceDirect platform.
The journal is classified in the first quartile (Q1) and is considered one of the leading journals in the field of bioinformatics and computational medicine, with a CiteScore of 13 and an Impact Factor of 7.0, and is indexed in Scopus and Clarivate.
