The master’s thesis of Asma’a Basheer Hamza was discussed at the Informatics Institute for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Information Technology and Communications.
The thesisin computer science major is titled: “A Proposed Authentication System Based On Electro Encephalogram (EEG)”
This paper describes a person recognition system built using deep learning RNN and GRU LSTM models along with hardware components such as Arduino and an electronic safe, with the aim of enhancing instant identity verification within an access control system.
The research results showed that the combination of EEG signals and deep learning algorithms (RNN, LSTM, and GRU) provides a safe and reliable system for interacting with electronic systems.
After the student was discussed by the discussion committee, she obtained a master’s degree with a very good grade in computer science major.
