The University of Information Technology and Communications held a consultative meeting aimed at preparing for its annual international conference, in light of the university council’s decisions that emphasized the importance of involving faculty members who are on scholarships and benefiting from their academic experiences.

The meeting was chaired by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assist Prof. Dr. Haidar Hassan Mashali, with the participation of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Muayyad Abdul-Ridha Sahib, and the Dean of the College of Medical Informatics, Prof. Dr. Intisar Shadeed Al-Majbali, along with several department heads and faculty members who were in scholarships in various colleges.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the mechanisms for organizing the conference and identifying ways to maximize the benefits from the returning academic competencies, which contribute to enhancing the quality of research and scientific outputs of the university.
