As part of efforts to activate the role of universities in supporting youth and entrepreneurship, a number of female faculty members from the University of Information Technology and Communications participated in the first training course for trainers. The course is organized as part of the Riyada Initiative, launched by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’a Al-Sudani on March 4, 2023, with the aim of creating an entrepreneurial community and stimulating the business environment in Iraq.
This participation comes in line with ministerial directives to implement advanced training programs aimed at developing the training skills of University and institute faculty members by engaging them in specialized courses delivered by business and innovation incubators.
The University emphasizes the importance of this participation in enhancing the capabilities of its teaching staff, in line with the initiative’s goals of spreading the culture of entrepreneurship and establishing a University environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
