The Continuing Education Center at the University of Information Technology and Communications (UoITC)  has completed the fourth training course of the Program for Developing and Qualifying University Leadership and Human Resources (E-Governance and Informatics Axis) for the third consecutive year.

This course was conducted based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Department of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up, and as part of the implementation of two national projects aimed at developing and qualifying university leadership in accordance with a scientific plan set for the years 2023, 2024, and 2025.
The program is based on five key axes and was attended by a number of department, division, and unit heads from the university and its colleges, who received specialized scientific training.

The course was delivered by Professor Dr. Hussein Abdul Redha, head of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, and Assistant Professor Dr. Samer Mohammed Ali, head of the Computer Center at the University of Information Technology and Communications.

The course covered various topics related to e-governance, electronic management of institutional websites, information systems, data and information security, types of hackers and protection methods, the importance of cybersecurity, as well as the features of artificial intelligence and the use of AI systems in universities. It also included training on dealing with social media platforms and electronic archiving systems.

The course concluded with an assessment test for the participants in this year’s fourth developmental course for university leadership and human resources.
