The Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at the University of Information Technology and Communications organized a workshop on “Explaining the New Updates to the 2025 Iraqi University Ranking Standards.” This workshop was held in light of the classification standards launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Bureau during its recent conference.

The workshop was delivered by the Department Director, Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Abdul-Ridha Muhammad. The workshop reviewed the most significant updates to the national classification standards and clarified the mechanisms for their implementation, which will contribute to enhancing the university’s readiness and preparedness to achieve an advanced position in the classification, building on the achievements of previous editions.

The workshop included fruitful discussions and a number of inquiries from the attendees, focusing on the requirements for implementing the standards and mechanisms for collecting the necessary evidence and documents, in addition to proposals to support the university’s quality plans.
