This morning, the University of Information Technology and Communications witnessed the launch of the competitive examination for applicants to postgraduate programs for the academic year 2025–2026. The event was attended by the University President, Professor Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, his assistants, deans of colleges, and their deputies.

The exams, conducted in accordance with the standards of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, involved the participation of 117 candidates competing for postgraduate seats in the Institute of Informatics (High Diploma, Master’s, and PhD), the College of Engineering (Master’s), and the College of Business Informatics (Master’s).

The ministerial committee supervising the exams inspected the process and praised the good organization and adherence to the approved examination regulations.

The University President commended the organizational efforts of the supervising committees, emphasizing that all necessary resources were provided to ensure the smooth and transparent conduct of the exams and to uphold the principle of equal opportunity among applicants.

For its part, the Ministry of Higher Education announced that personal interviews for applicants will begin on June 30, 2025, and the results of the competitive exam will be announced on July 2 and 3.
