Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al -Aboudi, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Suha Mohamed Hadi, Dean of the Informatics Institute for Postgraduate Studies (IIPS) at the University of Information Technology and Communications (UoITC), the Informatics Institute for Postgraduates Studies held Three Minutes Thesis Competition (3MT) for doctoral students who are in the research phase.

The competition was organized in the presence of members of the Ministerial Committee in charge of following up this competition from the Research and Development Department. Moreover, a number of professors supervising graduate students at the Informatics Institute for Postgraduate Studies and the University of Information Technology and Communications.

In this competition, they were tested by the eight participants of the committee formed at the University of Information Technology and Communications, which consisted of a group of teaching staff.

This competition aims to develop the skills of scientific communication and rhetoric among graduate students, which makes them able to provide their research in a simple and attractive way.
