The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR) announces its strategic agreement with the global company Google to provide Iraqi university students with free access to the Gemini Pro artificial intelligence tool for an entire year, contributing to their academic excellence and the development of future skills.

The offer includes access to Gemini 2.5 Pro for understanding complex queries and Veo 3 for video generation, as well as integration of the tool into Google applications such as Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Meet. The students will also enjoy extended use of NotebookLM and voice summarization services, in addition to 2 terabytes of cloud storage space.

The Ministry draws the attention of its students to the fact that the Gemini Pro version, available in online stores for $240, will be provided free of charge to all students of public and private universities starting from Thursday.
