The Ph.D. student Zainab Muhammad Jamil from the Informatics Institute for Postgraduate Studies (IIPS) at the University of Information Technology and Communications (UoITC) was nominated for the final stage of the Three Minutes Thesis Competition launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The competition aims to encourage graduate students to present their research ideas and scientific thesis in simple and concise language within just three minutes, and in a manner that demonstrates the importance of research and its impact on society.

The final stage of the competition is scheduled to be held at the University of Technology (UoT) tomorrow, on Wednesday, with the participation of one representative from each Iraqi university.

For her part, the Dean of the Informatics Institute for Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Suha Muhammad Hadi expressed her pride in the student’s nomination to the final stage, stressing the institute’s full support for its distinguished students, and praising their efforts in representing the university in an honorable manner in various academic forums.
