Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Mashali,Scientific Affairs’ Assistant to the President of the University of Information Technology and Communications  participated as a member of the judging committee for the “Three-Minute Thesis (3MT)” competition organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the participation of representatives from various Iraqi universities.

The competition aims to encourage graduate students to present the core ideas of their research in a simplified and concise manner within only three minutes, thereby helping them develop scientific communication skills and highlight the importance and societal impact of their research.

Dr. Mashali emphasized that the competition represents an important national platform for discovering young research talents and fostering creativity among graduate students. He noted that the university’s participation in the judging committees aligns with its vision of supporting excellence and scientific innovation.

He also praised the quality of the presentations and research projects submitted, affirming that the competition was strong and reflected the qualitative progress in graduate research across Iraqi universities.
