Lecturer Ms. Sura Fawzi Ismail from the Business Informatics College at the University of Information Technology and Communications achieved a distinguished victory in the “Three-Minute Thesis” competition, organized by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with the participation of representatives from various Iraqi universities.
The competition aims to encourage graduate students to present their scientific research ideas in simple and concise language in just three minutes, highlighting the importance of the research and its impact on society.
The winning proposal was based on her doctoral thesis submitted to the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad entitled: “Optimal Resource Management for 6G Cloud Radio Access Network (C-RAN)” as it offers innovative solutions based on artificial intelligence and deep learning technologies to improve resource management of 6G networks, reduce energy consumption, and achieve high performance efficiency within modern cloud communications environments.
This win is a culmination of her research efforts and academic excellence, and it also reflects the University of Information Technology and Communications’ support for its members in achieving leadership and scientific innovation, and enhancing the University’s presence in national and scientific forums.
