The Women’s Affairs Division at the Presidency of the University of Information Technology and Communications organized an awareness campaign in celebration of Pink October, under the slogan “Together to Reduce Breast Cancer,” aimed at raising awareness about the importance of early detection and promoting a culture of disease prevention.

The campaign included an educational lecture to support early breast cancer screening and emphasize the importance of regular check-ups, presented by lecturer assist. Lec. Nesma Mahmoud Ammar from the College of Engineering. During the campaign, brochures, informational cards, and sweets were distributed to female staff and students, in addition to displaying motivational banners encouraging regular check-ups and general health care.

The campaign organizers emphasized that early detection contributes to faster recovery and provides a longer life, highlighting the importance of instilling healthy behaviors among members of the university community, especially women.
