In a groundbreaking national achievement, the University of Information Technology and Communications (UoITC) has launched its smart system “Smart UOITC,” supported by its locally developed artificial intelligence model

The “Smart UOITC” system represents the culmination of UOITC’s strategic initiative to develop a national AI model that operates efficiently within the framework of Iraqi regulations and systems.
This vision was realized through a locally built AI model that serves as the intelligent core driving the platform.

The project is led by the University President, Professor Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, and is regarded as a qualitative leap in both administrative and academic environments. It delivers smart digital solutions tailored specifically to the Iraqi context, enhancing efficiency, transparency, and performance across the university’s operations.

This is the system’s most revolutionary feature. Users can now generate official letters and administrative documents within seconds. Simply enter the main idea or a brief instruction, and trained on thousands of official Iraqi documents, will draft the entire text in fluent Arabic, adhering precisely to the formatting and contextual standards used across universities and government institutions.

– Digital Document Management and Workflow System (Document Store & Workflows):
A secure and integrated platform for managing and archiving all files. It enables users to create digital workflows for approvals and signatures, accelerating the document lifecycle and reducing paper-based procedures, while maintaining a transparent activity log for every action taken on each document.
