The Business Informatics College at the University of Information Technology and Communications, and under the auspices of its Deanship, organized an awareness lecture entitled “The Health and Psychological Effects of the Drug Menace,” presented by Lect. Bilal Ibrahim Bakri, as part of the College’s program aimed at promoting awareness and students protection.
The lecture addressed the most prominent health and psychological risks resulting from drug use, and the behavioral effects it leaves back that threaten the future of young people.
The lecture also stressed the importance of prevention and the role of the family and educational institutions in reducing the spread of this phenomenon.
This event is part of a series of activities implemented by the Psychological Counseling Unit at the College to promote health awareness among students.
The lecture witnessed clear interaction from the audience through the asking of questions and purposeful discussions.
