The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the Biomedical Informatics College at the University of Information Technology and Communications launched an awareness and educational campaign to combat drugs, which included College students, coinciding with the Iraqi Anti-Drug Week.
The campaign was conducted under the supervision of the head of Unit, Lect. Dr. Hana’a Saleem Ghanem, and with the participation of a group of students, as it included raising students’ awareness of the health and social risks of the scourge of drugs, in addition to distributing brochures and educational leaflets aimed at promoting community awareness of this phenomenon.
The awareness activities, which include posting posters and informational brochures, continue with the participation of a group of students, in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The College of Engineering also participated with a number of its students in a field activity to film an awareness video bearing the slogan (Hand in hand, no addiction in the country).
