The University of Information Technology and Communications Council held its regular meeting, chaired by the University President, Professor Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, to discuss several matters related to the university’s activities and events, in addition to following up on the latest developments in academic and administrative work across the colleges and departments.
During the meeting, the Council hosted Mr. Hussein Mohammed Redha, Head of the Smart Cities Division, who presented on the latest developments in the Smart UOITC integrated system, which contributes to enhancing administrative and academic efficiency and is supported by a local artificial intelligence model.
The Council also discussed a number of other topics, including creating a suitable environment for welcoming new first-year students, addressing the needs of students in subsequent years, and reviewing the progress of preparations for upcoming university events.
