The Electronic Computer Center at the University of Information Technology and Communications organized a training course entitled “Laravel”, presented by Mr. Ali Jassem Mohammed, for a period of five days.
The training program covered the introduction to the Laravel framework, which is one of the latest PHP frameworks used in web application development, due to its ease of use, high flexibility, advanced level of security, and its reliance on the Model-View-Controller MVC pattern in organizing and implementing application components.
The lecturer also explained that one of the basic requirements for participation is having prior knowledge of PHP and HTML.
The course covered identifying folder structures and application parts, introducing the concept of Routing, how to create routes, dealing with request types (GET, POST), creating Controllers to organize application logic and link them to routes, designing user interfaces (Views) using Blade Template, and the mechanism for passing data from Controllers to Views.
This course is part of the Center’s efforts to develop the skills of its members and raise their efficiency in the field of web application programming and development using the latest technologies.
