Prof. Dr. Suha Muhammad Hadi, Dean of the Informatics Institute for Postgraduate Studies at the University of Information Technology and Communications, chaired the periodic meeting of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Information Technology and Computer Science in Iraqi Universities, which was hosted by the University of Karbala / College of Computer Science and Information Technology.
The meeting witnessed a discussion of a number of topics related to the development of academic programs and the modernization of curricula, in addition to studying the official instructions received from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the establishment of new colleges and departments, in line with the rapid developments in the fields of information technology and computer science.
Dr. Suha Muhammad Hadi stressed the importance of the periodic meetings of the Deans Committee in promoting communication between colleges and unifying academic visions, which contributes to improving the quality of education and supporting the continuous modernization of the educational process.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the President of the University of Karbala, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajed Ali, honored the participating deans from various Iraqi universities, appreciating their efforts in supporting and developing the academic process.
Dr. Suha Mohammed Hadi also expressed her gratitude to the Deanship of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Karbala, represented by Assist. Prof. Dr. Muwaffaq Kadhum Mohsen, for the warm welcome, excellent organization, and for providing all the requirements for the success of the meeting.
