In partnership with Al-Nahrain University and the Iraqia University and under the slogan “Today’s Innovation, Tomorrow’s Investment,” the University of Information Technology and Communications (UoITC) took part in the Joint Investment and Entrepreneurship Exhibition 2025, organized by Al-Bayaan University from 3–4 December 2025.

The event was held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and supervised by the Department of Research and Development.

The exhibition witnessed official and academic attendance, including the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Economic Affairs, Dr. Mudhhir Muhammad Salih, and the Director-General of the Department of Research and Development, Prof. Dr. Lubna Khamis, in addition to the President of Al-Bayaan University, Prof. Dr. Haider Talib Al-Imarah, along with representatives of ministries, universities, Iraqi banks, and a number of investors.

Through the Technological Incubator and Ecosystem Division and the Technological Incubator Unit at the College of Biomedical Informatics, the University presented a range of entrepreneurial projects built on employing artificial intelligence technologies in health and service-oriented applications. The University’s pavilion drew significant interest from participating delegations, who commended the level of innovation and the quality of the showcased projects.

It’s noteworthy that this participation comes as part of the University’s strategy to support an innovation-driven and entrepreneurial environment and to strengthen collaboration with governmental institutions and the private sector.
