The Institute of Informatics for Postgraduate Studies witnessed the discussion of the master’s thesis by student Israa Saad Mohammed in the field of Computer Science, titled:
“Detect Multi-Cyber Threats in Digital Images Using Reinforcement System.”

The thesis addressed the development of a model based on Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) techniques, following a reward-and-punishment system, aimed at creating smarter and more effective mechanisms for detecting cyber threats. The research presents two integrated detection models: the first is specific to visual data (images), while the second pertains to textual data such as logs and packets, enabling the system to continuously learn and adapt to modern patterns of cyber attacks.

At the conclusion of the discussion, the student was awarded a master’s degree with honors in the field of Computer Science.
