Under the patronage of the President of the University of Information Technology and Communications, Professor Dr. Abbas Mohsen Al-Bakri, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Biomedical Informatics, Professor Dr. Intisar Shadid Al-Majbali, a joint international webinar was held between the College of Biomedical Informatics and the College of Science at UTM Malaysian University, within the framework of enhancing scientific and academic cooperation between the two universities.

The seminar was titled:
Sustainable Science – Bioinformatics & Ecology in the Digital Era

Through a series of scientific lectures, the seminar addressed the most prominent developments in the fields of bioinformatics, data science, environmental technologies, artificial intelligence, as well as methods for treating microbial pollutants, which contributes to supporting scientific research and developing sustainable solutions in the digital age.

The seminar resulted in a number of important scientific outcomes, most notably strengthening the frameworks of research cooperation between the two universities, exchanging scientific expertise, opening new horizons for joint research projects, in addition to raising the level of scientific awareness among students and researchers of the latest digital technologies and biometric data applications.

The seminar witnessed a distinguished presence and interaction from students and researchers, reflecting the importance of these events in supporting the scientific research process and strengthening international academic partnerships.
